Sacramento Firefighters Save And Revive A Dog From A House Fire

The life of a dog that had been rescued from a house fire

in the Arden-Arcade neighborhood on Sunday is said to have been saved by Sacramento firefighters.At 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, the Sacramento Metro Fire District dispatched crews to a house near Whitney Avenue and Country Club Lane after receiving reports

that the house was on fire.Inside the house, the firefighters discovered an incapacitated dog and a cat, and they managed to save both animals. An oxygen tank was used by firefighters to revive the dog, as seen in a departmental video shared on Twitter.

Firefighters claim the cat fled after being rescued, but the dog was returned to its owners.The firefighting did not result in any additional injuries, and authorities said they are still searching for what caused the fire.
